Halftime NSH v HOU

NASHVILLE - Nashville Soccer Club is even at 0-0 with Houston Dynamo on Saturday afternoon at Nissan Stadium. The Boys in Gold saw a penalty and a goal called back due to offside flags.

Nashville SC had its first two chances of the match in the 10’ minute when Daniel Ríos and Hany Mukhtar had their shots blocked at the top of the box. Houston’s first chance came six minutes later with an Ari Lassiter shot that was saved by Joe Willis.

Later in the half, Nashville had two golden scoring chances that were narrowly called offside. In the 22’ minute, Randall Leal appeared to be fouled in the box, but an offside flag in the build-up waved off his potential penalty. In the 33’ minute, Ríos was played in on goal and tucked the ball home, but the play was called back for offside as well.

Moments after that, Willis was called into action to sprawl and save a deflected shot by Lassiter in the 34’ minute.
