• Nashville SC remains in first place in the MLS and Eastern Conference standings

TORONTO (Sept. 9, 2026) – Nashville Soccer Club lost for just the third time in 24 MLS matches this season when it fell 2-1 at Toronto FC Wednesday night. Despite the loss, the Boys in Gold remain atop the MLS and Eastern Conference standings at 16W-3L-5D and 53 points.

First to do it: Jack Maher, who made his 150th career regular season appearance for Nashville SC on Wednesday night, became the first player drafted in 2020 or later to make 150 regular season appearances with the club that selected them.

Hany hits 200: Hany Mukhtar, Nashville SC's all-time leader in goals (97) and assists (67), made his 200th career MLS start (regular season + playoffs) Wednesday night.

Next up: The Boys in Gold will conclude a stretch of three road matches in eight days when they visit Inter Miami CF at Nu Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
