ADMINISTRATION

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the department with day-to-day operations; to include petty cash reconciliation, research, document management, and more.
  • Assist with execution of Front Office events and Ownership meetings.
  • Support administrative staff during home games; includes cash reconciliation, suite management, ownership needs, etc.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.
  • Assist with other special projects as assigned.

ANALYTICS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist technical staff with data-driven projects.
  • Support data entry across variety of technology platforms.
  • Consolidate data sources into concise and functional spreadsheets.
  • Produce data-led reports as deemed necessary by technical staff.

  • Knowledge and interest in sports.
  • Technologically proficient, including computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

COMMUNITY MARKETING & EVENTS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research bands, upcoming concerts, Nashville things to do and new venues.
  • Help plan/execute events, street team and club initiatives.
  • Research initiatives other clubs or doing or new aspect to add to the club.
  • Organize interns for event signups and making sure everyone is working the months events.
  • Help maintain event calendar and KPIs on an on-going basis.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate Partnerships sales efforts.
  • Be an ambassador of the Club within the corporate community.
  • Support Sponsorship staff during home games.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Write and report on the club, players and coaches both on and off the field.
  • Interview coaches and players and assist with transcribing quotes for the club’s digital use.
  • Assist with generating and posting content on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Assist with building, updating and editing the club’s website.
  • Attend training sessions for media availability.
  • Support all home matches.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and design flyers, posters, banners, and other collateral to support the Ticketing, Sponsorship, Operations, and Marketing and Communications departments.
  • Assist the Marketing team with the creation of digital graphics for use on social media outlets, broadcasts, website, and more.
  • Assist the Creative team in content capture including interviews, video shoots, photography sessions, and event documentation.
  • Help create, manage, and execute Club content calendar.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and brainstorming sessions for creative and engaging content for fulfillment of Club’s goals.
  • Provide input for, and assistance with, overall look and feel of brand including interactive and environmental design.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Working knowledge and abilities in Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects.
  • Photography and/or videography experience a plus.
  • Copywriting abilities not required, but preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and telephone etiquette.

EVENT OPERATIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the operations department on game day and non-game day operations.
  • Ensure proper back of house and field level set-up is in accordance with Major League Soccer standards which includes, but limited to: (1) Set-up and tear down of sponsor field signage, wall banners & capo stand. (2) Install and removal of event deck flooring and match equipment (goals, team benches, corner flags, VAR, etc.). (3) Set-up and tear down of service level operational space: team & referee locker rooms, match operations room, youth programs space, video operations room, etc.
  • Work with ball managers, stats runners and communicate with the press box.
  • Provide referees with any assistance as needed before, during, or after the game.
  • Ensure compliance with the game timing sheet and game day information.
  • Give notice to the home team and visiting team to ensure they take their positions on time for pre-game ceremonies/introductions and for the second half.
  • Assist with match credential distribution.
  • Support grounds staff with pre-game, halftime and post-game field conditions management.
  • Help with the movement and storage of the department’s equipment.
  • Aid in servicing the needs of the visiting teams on game day.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

FAN ENGAGEMENT

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and execution of supporter relations and fan engagement initiatives throughout the Nashville area. Such events include, but are not limited to season kickoff, pre-match parties, club-hosted concerts, and supporter relations functions.
  • Represent Nashville Soccer Club at all home matches and at club events in the community and region.
  • Assist with lead generation and data capture efforts at all fan engagement events.
  • Game day responsibilities include but, not limited to the following: (1) Assist in supporter relations and fan engagement activations at Nissan Stadium. (2) Assist with musical artists, performers, etc. to secure rider and backline needs. (3) Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all departmental and club goals are being met while identifying opportunities for improvement. (4) Perform other related tasks as assigned by a Coordinator of Fan Engagement.

LEGAL

Duties & Responsibilities

Under the direction of the General Counsel, the legal intern is responsible for:

  • Assist in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including sponsorship, broadcasting, vendor, events, and marketing agreements.
  • Conducting legal research on issues impacting all aspects of the Club.
  • Update agreement templates and identify process improvements.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, both within the organization and with external entities.
  • At all times display the upmost discretion, sound judgment, and ethical and moral standards.
  • Providing support in a multitude of other legal capacities.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in law school and eligible for college credit.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Shoot action photos of training sessions.
  • Shoot photos during game days and other events as needed.
  • Edit photos in Photoshop.
  • Post-game day photo galleries to the team website.
  • Photograph fans and in-game presentation.
  • Handle image sourcing/emailing internal and external photo requests.
  • Assist with archiving of photos.
  • Edit photos used on social media.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

Desired Qualifications

  • Interested in pursuing a career in photography.
  • Demonstrated photography and photo editing experience.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment and in media work zones.
  • Proficient in photography techniques, including lighting and camera positioning among others.

PUBLIC RELATIONS/COMMUNICATIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within industry and local market media.
  • Must be able to provide your own equipment.
  • Identify compelling and creative storylines to pitch to media and bring them to live.
  • Assist in coordination of events such as press conferences, media day, etc.
  • Attend and support in the execution of home games and weekly media activities.
  • Support the development of departmental publications (e.g., press releases, media advisories, game notes, media guide, etc.).
  • Monitor and report on team coverage in new and traditional local and national media.
  • Compile, archive and distribute local and national media clips.
  • Maintain and update all media archives, including quotes repository and press materials.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

TECHNICAL

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help organize the Equipment Room to ensure equipment is accessible and easy to distribute.
  • Aid in the day-to-day logistics of equipment used in training or games.
  • Assist with the screening (heat press) of practice and game apparel for players and staff.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Help maintain and replace all clothing used in training or games.
  • Assist in packing equipment on road trips.
  • Help distribute apparel and footwear to players as needed.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of training facility regarding security, maintenance, upkeep and the stocking of food and supplies.
  • Aid in regular communication with various resources, as well as Stadium Operations, Front Office Operations and the local Fire and Police Departments.
  • Assist on game-days with the following: (1) Assist the Team Administrator with preparation of all Home, Visitor and Referee Locker Rooms. (2) Help players in obtaining any special tickets, field club passes, will-call needs, etc. (3) Aid in organizing and cleaning all items used during the game as well as the locker room. (4) Stand in between Home and Visiting Team benches, prepared for any situation that may arise. (5) Help organize and pack items that must be returned to the training facility for following day.

  • Organize performance analysis outputs for weekly meetings.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with sale of season tickets, premium seats, and group tickets.
  • Participate in grassroots events and other community initiatives of the ticketing department.
  • Assist ticket sales staff to achieve overall ticket sales goals of the Club.
  • Support Ticketing staff during home games.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
  • Attend at least one community engagement event per month.

  • Assist in editing videos, from interview segments, highlight reels, commercials, social media, sponsorship content and in-game features.
  • Assist with archiving of videos.
  • Assist with the creation of motion graphics for game day in-stadium, LED board content and social media.
  • Assist in the ideation of the brand's storytelling through motion graphics.
  • Support front desk operations on a rotating basis.
