Nashville SC’s permanent home at The Fairgrounds took another step forward on Tuesday night as the Metro Council signed off on the deal reached between the club and Mayor John Cooper in February. Demolition of existing buildings at the site has been completed, and after the Council’s action on Tuesday night, construction is getting underway at the site. Nashville SC is set to play in its new stadium starting in 2022. Click here for the latest on the Nashville SC stadium project.
