2022 Hero of the Match: Angie Adams

Angie Adams currently serves as the President & CEO of PENCIL, the premier nonprofit linking community resources to Nashville Public Schools. Angie works closely with school and district leadership and guides the staff and board on how to engage the business community in providing over 5 million dollars of resources each academic year to help students succeed in life and academics. A mom of an MNPS student, Angie’s work serving our public-school students and teachers with PENCIL is the most meaningful of her more than 30-year-career.
