Defender Jeisson Palacios headed in a corner kick from Cristian Espinoza to put Nashville on the board in the 17th minute. Ater New York evened the score later in the first half, defender Maxwell Woledzi put the Boys in Gold back on top with his first career MLS and NSC goal in the 49th minute, assisted by Bryan Acosta. Â
Top of the table: With its win Saturday night, Nashville SC is guaranteed to remain atop the MLS standings (10 wins, 33 points) through the league’s World Cup schedule pause taking place May 25 to July 16. Â
