NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 19, 2026) – Nashville Soccer Club announced today its 2026 Golden Roots Soccer Series presented by leading global logistics provider GEODIS. The Golden Roots Soccer Series is a youth-focused sports and development program dedicated to inspiring, educating and empowering students across Middle Tennessee while building community through the game of soccer.

During May and June, the 2026 Golden Roots Soccer Series presented by GEODIS will provide weekly soccer programming featuring Nashville SC players and GEODIS volunteers to more than 250 students ages six to 18 from local youth-serving organizations.

“Bringing Nashville together through soccer is at the heart of everything we do, and the Golden Roots Soccer Series is central to that mission,” said Nashville SC Head of Community Engagement Brandon Hill. “The opportunity to reach young people across our community through the beautiful game while helping build confidence, relationships and a sense of belonging is incredibly meaningful, and that impact extends far beyond the field.”

“GEODIS' 70-year presence in Middle Tennessee is built on a foundation of care for our community and our work with Nashville SC is a natural extension of that history," said President and CEO of GEODIS Americas Laura Ritchey. "The Golden Roots Soccer Series represents a shared commitment to our neighbors, investing in local youth and making a lasting impact on the Nashville area that goes beyond the game itself.”

The 2026 Golden Roots Soccer Series will culminate with a Community Match Day for program participants at Fair Park (2300 Bransford Ave) on Friday, June 12 at 5:30 p.m. CT in conjunction with Nashville SC’s 2026 Visit Music City Summer Kickoff

Following the Golden Roots event, Nashville SC will host its first Soccer Celebration presented by Discount Tire live viewing (watch party) at GEODIS Park’s Publix Plaza for the FIFA World Cup 26™ Group Stage match between the United States Men’s National Team and Paraguay scheduled for 8 p.m. CT.

The 2026 Visit Music City Summer Kickoff will feature seven weeks of programming surrounding FIFA World Cup 26™ including Soccer Celebration presented by Discount Tire watch parties, live concerts and family-friendly events such as youth soccer camps and the fourth annual Dash at the Castle 5K. The series of events will culminate with Nashville SC’s highly anticipated return to MLS play against Atlanta United FC at GEODIS Park on Friday, July 17 ahead of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Final on Sunday, July 19.
