NASHVILLE (Nov. 4, 2020) - Nashville Soccer Club enters halftime down 1-0 to FC Dallas at Nissan Stadium on Wednesday night.


FC Dallas had the better of the chances early on and finally capitalized in the 19th minute. A long ball floated in to Ryan Hollingshead got behind the Nashville defense as the midfielder ran in stride with the Nashville defense. Hollingshead’s first shot was blocked, but his rebound chance was slotted in to open the scoring.


Nashville eased into the half and started finding chances. In the 35’ minute, Dan Lovitz attempted to corral the ball in front of the Dallas net, but the ball was cleared. Dave Romney pounced on the clearance and took a long-range shot that was saved in a chaotic moment in the box.


Defender Jack Maher was subbed off in the 29th minute due to injury.
