Halftime: NSH vs CHI

NASHVILLE - Nashville SC enters halftime tied 1-1 with Chicago Fire FC on Saturday night at Nissan Stadium.

Chicago opened the match on the front foot with the majority of possession and attacking chances. However, Nashville continued to improve as the match went on and found its way. In the 12th minute, Alex Muyl got on the end of a perfect cross from Randall Leal, but his header sailed over the crossbar.

In the 28th minute, Nashville finally struck with a Daniel Ríos header off of a Leal feed. Nashville kept the ball around the box and eventually Leal found it on the left side. His cross went straight into the middle where Ríos flicked the ball on and into the back corner of the net.

After the goal, the Fire got back into the attack and eventually found an equalizer from Boris Sekulic in the 42nd minute. He found his way behind the defense, stayed narrowly onside and put the near-post shot past goalkeeper Joe Willis.
