NASHVILLE (Jan. 10, 2020) – Nashville Soccer Club launched today the club’s community initiative to create a photo-mosaic with a collection of images representing Nashvillians from all walks of life that will be printed on a custom flag. Making its debut on Feb. 29 during Nashville SC’s inaugural match in Major League Soccer, the “One Nashville Under Gold” flag will be presented at midfield during the pre-match festivities at every home match in 2020 and will highlight fans, supporters, and local community partners.
“Nashville itself is a beautiful mosaic made up of amazing people from all walks of life. This flag represents the diversity of our city and NSC’s commitment to supporting all communities,” said Senior Director of Community Engagement Brandon Hill. “NSC aims to provide an atmosphere of inclusion where all Nashvillians come together to enjoy our game.”
Nashville SC is dedicated to supporting the Nashville community and everyone’s ability to enjoy the beautiful game. NSC aims to provide an atmosphere of inclusion where executives, players, staff, supporters and partners are treated with togetherness and respect. The “One Nashville Under Gold” flag will serve as a representation to the commitment and support to the well-being of all communities regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.
