NASHVILLE COUPLE BONDS OVER SOCCER AND NASHVILLE SC
NASHVILLE – Soccer is a game that unites and bonds, and that’s especially true with Abel and Gabby, a true couple of diehard Nashville SC fans.
Cheering on the Boys in Gold week in and week out helps strengthen the bonds of their marriage, one that has grown throughout the year and a half of being Nashville SC Season Ticket Members.
“We’re just always looking forward to that Saturday when there’s going to be a game,” Gabby said. “We’re just thrilled about it.”
The couple's love for each other might only be matched by their love for soccer. To them, it's not about wins and losses, but how the game brings people together, from all walks of life in Nashville, to cheer on Nashville SC. They hope that Major League Soccer in the Music City can continue to build the unity that they see in the stands at each Nashville SC match.
“In general, there’s no more universal game than soccer itself,” Abel said. “It’s the only sport that all nationalities play. To us, Nashville SC represents that and hopefully that will come to fruition.”
With Nashville SC moving up to MLS, the highest level of professional soccer in America, starting in 2020, Abel and Gabby are thrilled that they have been a part of something special from the very beginning.
“The beginning of something great, the beginning of something we can all band together, the beginning of something where we can support something in unison, and love the beautiful game of soccer,” Abel said.
