DAY-LONG BROADCAST TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH
NEW YORK ā Major League Soccer is celebrating the launch of the EA Sports FIFA 20 video game and contributing to a great cause next week.
On Tuesday, September 24, eMLS, the leagueās esports and gaming property, and MLS WORKS, the leagueās social responsibility platform, will be hosting a ā24 Hours of FIFA 20ā live stream on Twitch (Twitch.tv/mls) as part of the leagueās sixth annual Kick Childhood Cancer campaign. Various eMLS players and other personalities will be participating throughout the 24-hour special, all while raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer research. Twitch overlays and extensions will offer easy donation transactions throughout the event.
The broadcast will begin on September 24 at 5 p.m. CT and conclude on September 25 at 5 p.m. CT. It is part of the leagueās month-long fundraiser for the Childrenās Oncology Group Foundation, which is the worldās largest organization dedicated exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research. Participants in the broadcast will be using special Kick Childhood Cancer controllers from the leagueās new gaming partner Scuf Gaming.
