2022 Hero of the Match: Dr. Ricki Gibbs

In 2020, Dr. Ricki Gibbs, Executive Principal of Warner Elementary School, was named Principal of the Year for Metro Nashville Public Schools for his work transforming the historic elementary school in east Nashville. Through implementing an innovative curriculum designed to engage students and increasing enrollment through recruiting new families, Dr. Gibbs is helping to change the lives of local students through the power of education.
