NEW YORK – In addition to the exciting new Major League Soccer Playoff format being implemented this year, the league announced today that the 2019 MLS Cup will air nationally in the U.S. on ABC and Univision and in Canada on TSN and TVA Sports. It’s the first time in league history that MLS Cup will air on the four networks, and it is the most extensive broadcast distribution for the league’s biggest match. MLS Cup is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT on November 10.


The MLS Cup will provide an exciting conclusion to the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs which will feature a new single-elimination, condensed playoff format. Following MLS Decision Day, the final day of the MLS regular season, fourteen clubs, seven from each conference, will make the playoffs. The Audi MLS Cup playoffs will being with six Round One matches on Oct. 19 and 20. Then on Oct. 23 and 24 the Conference Semifinal matches will be played with two teams advancing from the Eastern and Western Conferences to the Conference Finals. Finally, the Conference Finals will take place on Oct. 29 and 30 to decide the participants in MLS Cup.


All of the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoff matches will be broadcast nationally among the league’s domestic U.S. partners, ESPN, FS1 and Univision.
