Forward Sam Surrdige was named to MLS Team of the Matchday following Nashville's 2-1 win in Toronto last weekend.
Sam Surridge's brace against Toronto FC solidified Nashville's eight-match unbeaten streak across all competitions and bumped the Boys in Gold to 3rd place in the Eastern Conference.
The Englishman leads Nashville SC with eight goals this season and is in a four-way tie for third-most goals in MLS. On Saturday, Surridge opened the scoring for Nashville with an assist from Hany Mukhtar and Andy Najar. The German attacker and Honduran defender currently lead the team in assists, tied with five each.
Nashville faces Columbus Crew Wednesday night, and they return from their three-match roadtrip to GEODIS Park this Saturday.
