WASHINGTON, D.C. (Aug. 1, 2026) – MLS-leading Nashville Soccer Club is unbeaten in 11 of its last 12 MLS matches (8W-1L-3D) after earning a 2-2 draw with D.C. United Saturday night at Audi Field. All-Star forward Sam Surridge scored his 50th-career MLS goal and the 300th regular season tally in NSC history on a penalty kick and midfielder Shak Mohammed scored his third goal of the season.

Half-century club: Sam Surridge's PK tally was his 50th-career MLS goal (regular season + playoffs). Surridge joins Hany Mukhtar (93) as the only players in Nashville SC history to reach at least 50 goals.

Maximum efficiency: Midfielder Shak Mohammed’s third goal of 2026 came in just his fifth regular season start and eighth MLS appearance of the season.

First of many: Elias Saad, who was acquired on loan from FC Augsburg of the German Bundesliga on July 16, made his Nashville SC and MLS debut as a substitute in the 62nd minute.
