The First of Many – Although these teams don’t meet often, Real Salt Lake holds a special place in Nashville SC history. The Boys in Gold defeated RSL 2-0 on May 8, 2022 to notch their first win ever at GEODIS Park. Saturday will be only the second time Real Salt Lake has visited GEODIS Park.

Spreading the Wealth – Nashville SC ranks in the top five in MLS for goal contributions by player in 2025 at third with 12 different Boys in Gold earning a spot on the score sheet through seven matches. Ahmed Qasem, Hany Mukhtar, and Josh Bauer lead the Boys in Gold with two goals apiece.

Just Keep Shooting – Nashville SC’s attack has been more dynamic than ever which the team stats reflect. The Boys in gold rank third in MLS in shots (42) and sixth in shooting percentage (40.4%). Opposition Player to Watch – Midfielder Diego Luna has quickly risen the ranks into MLS’s elite. The 21-year-old most recently scored two goals to defeat the LA Galaxy and has become a key part of Mauricio Pochettino’s U.S. Men’s National Team in recent months. Luna is a creative player who can find passes and goals that many can’t and was named 2024 MLS Young Player of the Year. If the Boys in Gold are going to bag three points on Saturday, shutting down Luna is going to be the key defensively.
