Second place Cincinnati is just one point ahead of the Boys in Gold in second place, while the Philadelphia Union is leading the pack with 40 points.
From a league wide perspective, Nashville SC sits in 5th in the Supporters Shield standings, five points behind the Union.
Super Sam is Soaring – With his hat trick against the New England Revolution on Wednesday, Sam Surridge took a commanding lead in the MLS Golden Boot race. He now boasts 15 goals on the season, two more than the Philadelphia Union’s Tai Baribo. The striker’s performance also earned him a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday.
The Englishman also has the second highest xG on the season in MLS (13.61), only behind the Chicago Fire’s Hugo Cuypers (13.62).
Hey Andy, You’re An All-Star – Nashville’s Honduran right back was named to the 2025 MLS All-Star squad for the first time in his 8-year MLS career. Austin FC and 2025 MLS All-Star coach Nico Estévez selected Najar as one of his 12 coach's picks. His nomination continues Nashville’s streak of having at least one All-Star in every season Nashville SC has competed in MLS.
“Being selected for the MLS All-Star team is a motivation for me to keep working, to keep doing things the same way; otherwise, this wouldn't have been possible,” shared Najar. “First, I want to thank God, my family, my teammates, the coaching staff, and the medical team, who I believe have also been part of these six months of my time here with the team. Being able to play in that match and represent Nashville SC is a joy and a happiness for me, and I hope to continue doing things the same way.”
