Nashville Soccer Club Announces Technical Staff Promotions

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 22, 2024) – Nashville Soccer Club announced today the promotion of four members of its technical staff:

  • Senior Director of Strategy & Analytics Oliver Miller-Farrell will now serve as Assistant General Manager following the departure of Ally Mackay, who in November of 2023 became D.C. United’s General Manager;
  • Former MLS midfielder and Director of Player Personnel Chance Myers will transition into Technical Director as he enters his sixth season with Nashville SC;
  • Former Nashville SC player and Huntsville City Football Club’s (Nashville’s MLS Next Pro affiliate) Director of Soccer Operations Liam Doyle will move to Nashville as the Director of Soccer Operations for the MLS side. Huntsville City FC has hired Matt Cairns to replace Doyle.
  • Jeff Robben, who was awarded MLS’ 2023 Club Administrator of the Year, will now serve as Director of Team Administration.

“We are excited to promote Oliver, Chance, Liam, and Jeff into elevated positions,” said Mike Jacobs, Nashville SC General Manager. “They have all worked hard, been exceptional in their previous responsibilities, and played an integral role in our club’s success, and all four are clearly deserving of their expanded roles.”

Together, Miller-Farrell, Myers, Doyle and Robben will continue to drive the day-to-day soccer operations, as they also assist in scouting and recruitment of players for Nashville SC, Huntsville City FC, and The Gold Mine, Nashville SC’s Academy.

The Boys in Gold will kick off their 2024 MLS season at home at GEODIS Park on Sunday, Feb. 25 against the New York Red Bulls. Single-game tickets are on sale now at NashvilleSC.com.
