Sunday's match poster for Nashville SC vs D.C. United at Nissan Stadium is designed by local artist Gorica Zivak. From Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zivak grew up watching her dad and brothers play soccer and came to appreciate the energy and community of the sport. She jumped at the chance to merge her fandom of local sports and passion for art by collaborating on a unique and bright edition of Nashville SC's Poster of the Match series.
A full-time graphic designer, Zivak got her start at a young age by teaching herself Adobe Photoshop in middle school. She found inspiration in her favorite hip-hop album covers and learned how to bring her own vibrant visions to life. Zivak says her inspiration for the poster was to "make it pop." She went for different textures and colors to bring the piece to life with a unique comic book style that can appeal to fans of all ages, from kid to adult. When asked what her advice was for other artists, Zivak said, "Keep going. Don't stop. Really it's just stay on your own journey because you never know where something just like this takes you or even opportunities applying for like a poster contest. Just keep going."
Gorica Zivak's unique poster of the match will be available at merchandise locations at Nissan Stadium on August 15 when Nashville SC takes on D.C. United in search of a third straight home win.

Nashville Inspiration: Just the diversity, right. I've been here for so long and just like the different groups and the culture and just the way the city is moving, but then you also like cherishing the past as well.
