After an action-packed month of May, Nashville SC is in the international break.

Defender Walker Zimmerman is in camp with the U.S. Men’s National Team for the first time since qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in March. They’re getting ready to open up World Cup pool play in Qatar on Nov. 21. Meanwhile, midfielder Aníbal Godoy has joined up with the Panama National Team for four matches during this window.

Here’s a breakdown of Zimmerman and Godoy’s matches on international duty:

Walker Zimmerman, U.S. Men’s National Team

U.S. 0 Uruguay 0

Walker Zimmerman played the entire 90 minutes of the USMNT’s friendly 0-0 draw with Uruguay on Sunday. He played a major role in securing the team’s clean sheet against the two-time World Cup winners at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan. The center back won two tackles, amassed four clearances and three blocks, made five recoveries and completed one interception. Zimmerman also completed 51 out of 58 attempted passes, an 88% success rate.

The USMNT will now look forward to a competitive Concacaf Nations League match against Grenada on June 10.

U.S. 3 Morocco 0

Walker Zimmerman played the first half of the United States Men’s National Team’s 3-0 result against fellow World Cup bound Morocco at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati last Wednesday evening. His most important contribution on the night was a long ball over the top of Morocco’s back line that released winger Christian Pulisic into space to set up midfielder Brenden Aaronson in the 26’ minute for the USMNT’s opening goal.
