Midfielder Hany Mukhtar was named to MLS Team of the Matchday following Nashville's 5th straight win in a row at home last night.
Mukhtar put Nashville ahead in the 63rd minute with an assist from Alex Muyl in Wednesday's match versus New York Red Bulls. This is the German attacker's 10th goal contribution this season (six goals, four assists), more than any other player on the team.
Wednesday's final is the first win for Nashville SC against New York Red Bulls since joining MLS. The Boys in Gold are off to their best start in club history, with seven wins and 23 points in league play.
