Nashville SC — fresh off perhaps the best season in its history — is set to return in 2026 as one of Major League Soccer’s premier outfits, looking to improve on the numerous club records it set last season. With a raucous GEODIS Park behind them and everything to play for ahead of them, we’ve selected five home matches fans of the Boys in Gold won’t want to miss out on.

Charlotte FC, Apr. 25, 7:30 p.m.

Nashville and Charlotte’s relationship has become increasingly contentious as both clubs have ascended the MLS pyramid after joining the league as expansion franchises. The pair of Southern clubs split their 2025 series 1-1, with each side winning their home matchups 2-1 after going a goal down.

As two of the Eastern Conference’s best-performing teams in 2025 — Nashville finished sixth, Charlotte fourth — 2026’s meeting at GEODIS Park looks to be one of elite foes. And, if last season was any indication, one filled with fireworks.

LAFC, May 17, 7:00 p.m.

Aside from Inter Miami, LAFC is perhaps the glitziest — and one of the most talent-stacked — rosters in MLS. But where Miami is a known commodity for the Boys in Gold, they are markedly less familiar with the 2022 MLS Cup winners; Nashville hasn’t played LAFC since 2024, and not at home since 2023.

Its assignment won’t be made easier by the star power charging its opponent’s offense. 2025 Golden Boot runner-up Denis Bouanga leads the line alongside English Premier League legend Son Heung-Min, posing as tough a test as anyone Nashville will face all year. It’s an elite team — and the perfect opportunity for Nashville to prove itself as one, too.

Inter Miami CF, Aug. 15, 7:30 p.m.

There may not be two teams in Major League soccer right now more familiar with one another than Nashville and Miami. Two regular-season meetings and three playoff games — including four consecutive matches — in 2025 mean that the pair of Eastern Conference foes are now each other’s most common opponent since their 2020 debut seasons, playing 19 times across all competitions.

The South Florida club holds the leg up on the Boys in Gold 9-5-5. But with significant roster shakeups on both sides (each side has at least one Designated Player slot available this offseason) and months to gameplan, expect this clash at GEODIS Park to deliver on its blockbuster billing yet again.

FC Cincinnati, Aug. 29, 7:30 p.m.

Nashville’s oldest rival, dating back to USL days, was not an easy out in 2025. The Boys in Gold dropped both matches in heartbreaking fashion, losing 2-1 in added time after spirited fight-backs to equalize.

With a new season comes a chance for revenge, something Nashville will be especially hungry for considering the given the last-gasp nature of the 2025 series. And with the teams’ August meeting at GEODIS Park being their first of the season, the Boys in Gold will no doubt be looking to put on a show and swing the rivalry back toward Tennessee.

Philadelphia Union, Oct. 28, 7:30 p.m.

Philadelphia had Nashville’s number the first five years they faced off, losing only one of their eight previous meetings. But 2025 was when the Boys in Gold shook the funk, earning their first win at GEODIS Park and away win against the Pennsylvania club, plus an Open Cup semifinal triumph, by an aggregate 7-2 score.

A matchup against the reigning Eastern Conference and Supporters’ Shield winners is enticing no matter the circumstance. But with the U.S. Open Cup trophy in Nashville’s cupboard, the Boys in Gold’s penultimate home match is guaranteed to be one between reigning champions looking to carry their 2025 successes deep into 2026.
