COLUMBUS, Ohio - Nashville SC is tied 0-0 with Columbus Crew SC at halftime of the Audi MLS Cup Playoff Eastern Conference Semifinals at MAPFRE Stadium on Sunday night.


In the early moments of the match, Columbus controlled the pace and possession, earning a handful of chances. In the 23rd minute, Pedro Santos had an open shot that he sent high and wide.


After that, Nashville clawed its way back into the match through set pieces. In the 24th minute, Jhonder Cádiz’s corner kick header bounced off the keeper and nearly went in, but Columbus was able to settle it. Three minutes later, Cádiz had another set piece shot that was deflected wide. On the ensuing corner kick, Dax McCarty saw his header bounce down off the crossbar, and a rebound back heel flick by Walker Zimmerman was saved.


Nashville outshot Columbus 8-4 during the first 45 minutes and had the only two shots on target.
