NASHVILLE - Nashville Soccer Club and New England Revolution are tied at 0-0 at halftime at Nissan Stadium on Friday night after a weather delay.


The two teams traded possession to start the match as they each tried to adjust to the wet conditions. In the 13th minute, both Alex Muyl and Randall Leal had shot attempts blocked down by defenders. Three minutes later, New England’s Alexander Büttner took an open chance from outside the box but placed it wide of the net.


In the 37th minute, New England took the first shot on target of the half with an open look for Tommy McNamara that went straight into goalkeeper Joe Willis’ gloves.


Each side registered three shots during the half.
