Halftime reset: Nashville SC enters halftime with New England Revolution tied at 0-0

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Nashville SC and the New England Revolution are even 0-0 at halftime at Gillette Stadium on Saturday night.

New England earned the first major opportunity of the match in the 8’ minute with a Tajon Buchanan rifled shot towards goal. Goalkeeper Joe Willis lunged to make the stop and push the ball over the bar.

The two teams exchanged chances throughout the half, but Nashville finished the half on the front foot with a pair of opportunities in the 43’ and 44’ minutes following a corner kick. Dax McCarty missed a header wide, and Alistair Johnston’s right-footed shot was sent wide.

The Revolution took seven shots in the half, three of which were blocked and three of which were forced off target. Nashville SC took three shots.
