FC Cincinnati, Saturday, May 30

Honestly, it’s a no-brainer. The quickest road trip you’ll make all season is bound to be one of the most exciting matches of 2020. While it’s Nashville SC’s first year in MLS, the club is no stranger to FC Cincinnati. Heated matchups and playoff snubs during the team’s USL Championship days have left some unfinished business that will have both fan bases fired up come matchday. Just four hours northwest of Music City, it’s easy to arrive early and stay late to cheer on the Boys in Gold in Cincy.
Minnesota United, Saturday, June 13

Flight Time: Just over 2 hours
Minnesota United is an enticing trip for two main reasons: Allianz Field and potential pit stops during the drive. Opened in 2019, the Loons’ soccer-specific stadium has set a new standard for venues in the United States. Its intimate atmosphere, pristine playing surface and unique design make it a top destination for any soccer fan. A quick flight is always an option to get to Saint Paul, Minn., but ambitious travelers can turn this match into the perfect summer road trip. The 13-hour commute from Nashville passes through Louisville, Ky. and Chicago, giving you the opportunity to explore other major cities along the way.

Back-to-back matches in Los Angeles set up a convenient two-for-one deal for Nashville SC fans this summer. Although they’re 12 miles apart, LAFC and LA Galaxy couldn’t be more different – one is a recent expansion side coming off of a shield-winning season, while the other is an original MLS powerhouse with a rich history of success and stardom. The five-hour flight to the west coast gives you the best of both worlds and is the perfect excuse to visit the Golden State for the week.
Seattle Sounders, Sunday, Oct. 4
Distance from Nashville: 2,390 miles
Flight Time: 5.25 hours
What better way to round out the regular season than a match against the reigning Audi MLS Cup champions? You’ll have the opportunity to experience the Home of the 12th man for yourself at CenturyLink Field during one of the milder months in Washington. Although it’s the second-farthest road trip for the Boys in Gold in 2020, it will be worth the trek to see NSC go head-to-head against one of the league’s top teams.
