CREATIVE MIDFIELDER EARNS HIS SIXTH CALL UP TO LOS TICOS OF 2019

NASHVILLE - Nashville SC midfielder Randall Leal will be taking the international stage with the Costa Rica Men’s National Team during the upcoming international break as it faces Curaçao and Haiti in the Concacaf Nations League, the Costa Rican Federation announced on Friday.

The elite young international player has received six call-ups to Los Ticos in 2019, playing in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup, three international friendlies and a Nations League match back in October. So far in his young career, Leal has appeared in 13 international matches for the senior Costa Rican side, starting in seven of them.

Leal, who was announced as Nashville’s seventh Major League Soccer signing in September, received the call-up coming off of an impressive performance for his current club, Deportivo Saprissa, in the first leg of the Concacaf League Final. He assisted on Saprissa’s lone goal in a 1-0 home win on Thursday night.

Costa Rica takes on Curaçao on Thursday, Nov. 14 before playing Haiti on Sunday, Nov. 17.
