Two additions give Nashville SC four Recognized Supporters Groups

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 2, 2018) – Nashville SC will recognize two more supporters groups before its inaugural season begins. Eastern Front Supporters Group and Music City Supporters will become the third and fourth “Recognized Supporters Groups” joining The Roadies and The Assembly.

Eastern Front Supporters Group, started by a group of Nashville SC fans who played pickup soccer together, differentiates itself through its demeanor. Offering a relaxed atmosphere at tailgates, Eastern Front consists of students of soccer who love to see the finer points of beautiful game. Instead of in the “Supporters Section” at First Tennessee Park, you will find members of Eastern Front scattered around the stadium, enjoying the passion for Nashville SC.

“We are elated about the announcement of Eastern Front becoming the next Recognized Supporters Group of Nashville Soccer Club,” said Jonathan Marshall, Co-Founder and COO of Eastern Front. “We started kicking the idea around a few years back while attending NFC NPSL matches at Vanderbilt Stadium and to see it come to fruition a few years later is truly an honor. We look forward to commiserating with The Roadies, The Assembly and others to come as we do our part in growing the beautiful game here in Nashville.”

While Eastern Front offers an analytical approach to Nashville SC, Music City Supporters (MCS) will bring a family friendly environment to the supporters group scene. The majority of the members of MCS are involved with youth soccer in the area for a variety of public and private schools as well as numerous clubs.

“Having a professional soccer team in Nashville is a massive achievement, too big to celebrate alone,” said MCS Board Member Greg Stein. “We’re excited to celebrate the team and our town.”

Both supporters groups join The Roadies, the largest Nashville SC supporters group, were recognized in the summer of 2017 while The Assembly became recognized in late 2017.
