NASHVILLE (Jan. 18, 2018) – Nashville SC of the United Soccer League (USL) announced its preseason schedule which includes three friendlies against Major League Soccer (MLS) opponents.
"I'm delighted with the calibre of our preseason fixtures," said Nashville SC head coach Gary Smith. "There has been plenty of hard work put into planning a schedule of games that will give us some great competition as we build towards our March 17th game versus Louisville City."
After Nashville SC opens the preseason with its historic first match against Atlanta United at First Tennessee Park, the club will hit the road to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. for a week of training and friendlies. While at IMG, Nashville SC will see Chicago Fire of MLS and Ottawa Fury of the USL on February 21 and 23, respectively. Both matches will be closed to the public.
On the way back to the Music City, Nashville SC will make a stop in Orlando for a match against another MLS club, Orlando City on February 25. Like the other games in Florida, it too will be a closed match.
Nashville SC will close its preseason slate on the road against USL Eastern Conference opponent FC Cincinnati on March 3rd. Ticket information to that match can be found on http://www.fccincinnati.com.
