Join Nashville SC for the Light the Night Walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Nashville Soccer Club is excited to be partnering with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night Walk.  The Light the Night Walk is a wonderful fundraising event about Hope, Remembrance, and Support of lives touched by cancer.  It is an event about communities coming together as one to find cancer cures.  The Light the Night Walk is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s major fundraising event of the year.

  • During the walk (which is held at night), Walkers carry illuminated lanterns - White for survivors, Red for supporters and Gold in memory of loved ones lost to a blood cancer.
  • The Walk Route is a very short 1.5 miles.  All are able to participate as young, old, and patients take part in the Walk.
  • There is a fantastic fireworks display at the end of the Walk
  • Food and Activities for the entire family
  • Musical entertainment
  • Charles Esten (Deacon from the hit CMT show Nashville) will be on hand to meet everyone.  Charles’ daughter, Addie, is a Leukemia survivor and Charles is our National Light the Night Spokesperson.

Date:                         Friday Night, October 20, Nissan Stadium Lot R
Time:                         Check in and activities begin at 5:30 p.m.
                                   Walk begins at 7:30 p.m.
All fans are invited to join the team, raise funds and attend this fun family event. Participating in the Walk is a great way to create camaraderie within the community, and will have a positive impact on the lives of those affected by cancer.
Nashville SC's goal is to have 100 walkers on the walk team and to raise $5,000. This is a large fundraising goal, but when NSC fans set their minds to something, 'Our Town. Our Club.' achieves it!
Please register to walk on the team, Nashville Soccer Club.  By joining the NSC team, you’ll enjoy an extraordinary experience, celebrating and commemorating lives touched by cancer.  To join the Team,

LLS is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers. Yet, despite research advances, about one third of patients with a blood cancer still do not survive even five years after their diagnosis.
Together, LLS and the Nashville Soccer Club can take steps to end cancer. Thank you for your commitment and generosity.
