PHILADELPHIA – A first half that saw Nashville SC and Bethlehem Steel FC tentatively spend the first 20 minutes feeling out an unfamiliar turf pitch, finished with a flurry of chances and both teams earning a goal midway through the half.
Bethlehem’s James Chambers opened up the scoring in 24’ minute off a free kick just outside the box. Chambers bent the ball around Nashville’s wall and slotted it in the bottom right of the net.
Nashville answered just two minutes later from a set piece of their own as midfielder Lebo Moloto swung in a corner kick and Tribbett buried a header past the Steel keeper. It was Tribbett’s second goal of the season and Moloto’s third helper.
Nashville SC is looking to come back and win after giving up the first goal for the first time in club history.
