3 Things to Know about Saturday's Nashville SC Match Against Charlotte Independence

NASHVILLE ­– Nashville Soccer Club remains at home for the finale of a four-match homestand, hosting Charlotte Independence at First Tennessee Park at 7 p.m. Here is three things that Nashville SC fans need to know going into the match.

1) Party by the Pitch – Nashville SC will host another prematch party for all fans with tickets to the match on Saturday night. The right field gates will open at 5 p.m. CT for the party, and fans are welcome to enter First Tennessee Park early before the gates open to the public and enjoy a beautiful Nashville evening with games and inflatables, while watching the team warm up on the field before the match. There will also be a $16.50 special for unlimited Mill Creek Goalden Ale at The Band Box from 5-7 p.m.

2) Last Chance to See the Boys in Gold at First Tennessee Park for a month – Nashville SC has enjoyed a nice two-week stretch at home, but will hit the road for the next month in USL Championship play. After Saturday night, Nashville SC won’t be back at First Tennessee Park until June 22, so don’t miss the chance to see Nashville SC on Saturday.

3) Lots of Goals – In its two matches last week, Nashville SC scored eight goals its most in any two match stretch in club history. Total in its 10 league games, Nashville has scored 18 goals, the second-most of any team in the USL Eastern Conference. It could be raining goals on Saturday night as Charlotte has allowed 20 goals in 10 matches, the second-most in the East.
